    • look for this path in the Regedit-HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionExplorerUser Shell Folders.

    • double-click on the Entry App Data and paste your own local profile path in its place.

    • restarts the system.

  • Error 1712 can be stopped by the following steps:

    1. Firstly, on your keyboard press Ctrl+ Alt+ Delete.

    3. Now, you need to click on the End Process button and close all the processes in the Task Manager.
    4. Reopen the QuickBooks app and the error would be solved.
